Commercial technology entering defence work

Your first defence contract changes more than your compliance plan.

Civilian tech shares fast. Defence works on need to know. Both are right. Inside one company, the habits can collide before anyone has named the line.

What one team sees as useful sharing, another sees as a boundary.

Commercial teams may be used to case studies, conference talks, open code and team posts. Defence work asks different questions about what is shared, with whom and under what conditions. The line often becomes visible only after it has been crossed.

Where AI comes in

Every tool that helps people work faster can change what leaves the building. Pieces that are harmless alone can add up to something sensitive once they are gathered together.

What I do

The same two-week diagnostic, focused on where commercial and defence work meet: releases, sales, engineering, communications and the AI tools people already use.

What I do not do

Controlled Goods registration, security clearances, procurement or bids. You will need specialists for those; I can point you to them.
