An Unflocked Offering
The engagement.
When the drag is structural.
The Work
Some delivery drag sits deeper than any one leader or team can shift. The strategy is sound, and still the organisation has stopped moving through it cleanly, with friction reforming faster than anyone can clear it. This is the work at the level of the whole system: making the drag visible, setting a direction the organisation can hold, and leaving the capacity to keep navigating once I’m gone.
How It Works
The engagement moves through three phases that overlap more than they sequence.
It starts with sense-making. A confidential way for your people to share and interpret their own stories about how work actually moves, which surfaces the real state of the organisation rather than the version the status report tells.
Then decision-making. A one-page map of what’s easy to change and what isn’t, and a working session with the leadership team to read it, set the direction, and choose the constraints worth shaping.
Then way-shaping. A short list of the highest-leverage, lowest-risk next steps, small safe-to-fail moves the organisation can learn from and adjust, and a handover that leaves your team able to sense and respond on their own. The work ends when they can sustain it without me in the room.
A Shorter Way In
If a full engagement is more than the moment calls for, the delivery drag scan is a focused scan. It surfaces where the friction is building and hands you a clear map of what to shift. It stands on its own, and it’s often how the larger work begins.
Where I Come In
I work mostly with technology companies of roughly ten to two hundred and fifty people, the size where a single stalled integration or hard pivot can reshape the whole place. I come in at the point of friction, from diligence through the first hundred days and wherever momentum stalls after, and I work inside your existing rhythm, your OKRs, your retros, your planning, rather than bolting a process on top of it. The arc scales with the organisation: shorter and tighter for a smaller team, longer where the system is larger and more entangled.
Who I Work With
Investors
Private Equity & Family OfficesWhat's really happening
Portfolio value can leak through delivery drag. Integration looks fine in the dashboard until leadership alignment slips, decisions slow down, and execution starts absorbing the cost.
Where I come in
I map unseen dependencies before they hit performance, build feedback loops between product, people, and profit, and make friction visible early enough to protect momentum.
You bought growth. I help protect it under pressure.
Executives
CEOs, CFOs, and Leadership TeamsWhat's really happening
Every plan meets the human system on day two. Teams stay busy while direction fractures, trust thins out, and decisions begin cycling through the same rooms.
Where I come in
I help rebuild strategic cohesion by surfacing what is fixed, what filters, and what flexes, so direction, decision, and delivery can move together again.
I help make the strategy executable in the system you actually have.
Tech & Product Leaders
Navigating the Integration MessWhat's really happening
You cannot ship coherence from Jira. Roadmaps collide, dependencies multiply, and culture and code both fork under pressure. Every sprint becomes a negotiation.
Where I come in
I work inside your existing delivery rhythm, your retros, OKRs, and planning cycles, to align product, platform, and people decisions around shared context.
I help keep your builders building, not firefighting.
People & Culture
Holding the Centre When the Edges MoveWhat's really happening
Culture is how work gets done while the deal is being wired together. Alignment can slip while everyone is still smiling for the town hall, and key talent starts reading the mixed signals.
Where I come in
I use context mapping rather than sentiment scores to see what is shaping behaviour, then create the conditions for people to rebuild coherence in practice.
I help make culture palpable rather than aspirational.
